We are 2 post-Mormon women deconstructing Mormonism together. We both went through faith transitions in the last few years and have spent 1000s of hours studying Mormon history, reading and listening to everything we can get our hands on. We’re now working through some of the hard parts of losing our faith as well as all the wonderful parts of leaving a high demand religion and the shame associated with it behind. Life is really just starting to get SO good! Join us for real conversations about all things Mormonism and post-Mormonism.
As an exmo mother with rheumatoid arthritis, a history of struggling with addiction to prescription medications stemming from a need to please, an amazing, gay daughter, and a patient, loving, feminist husband, I resonate so deeply with all you have shared. Thank you for doing what you do, and for being bold in speaking your truths! And thanks for making me laugh!
I’m so glad that our stories resonate with you! Sometimes it’s so healing to just know that you’re not alone. Glad we could make you laugh as well. 🙂
Just wanted to let you know I’ve really enjoyed your podcast. I’m a man, I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how much I can relate to what you’re saying. After listening to “Adam”, I felt the need to write. It was a great podcast and moving when he hit emotional about his sister. Thanks for adding your voices to the community. You’re filling a needed space.
I’m so glad you have enjoyed it, thank you for the feedback!
